Behaviour and Discipline
Discipline within the school community is firm but fair. Staff, pupils and parents have a joint responsibility in maintaining the school’s high standard of behaviour. The school rules have been devised to ensure the safe, smooth running of the school and to encourage consideration for others.
We operate a zero tolerance policy towards disruptive, anti-social or bullying behaviour.
Our Five Golden Rules
- Value yourself – work hard and behave sensibly and safely.
- Respect other people – show tolerance and understanding towards all members of the school community. Be polite and welcoming to visitors.
- Show self-control – allow yourself and others to work, learn and play.
- Appreciate our school environment – keep the school clean and tidy. Respect work displayed in and out of the classrooms.
- Look after your own and others’ property– ask before borrowing items and always return property back to the owner.
