ICT at MSSS is a core subject and has been very successfully implemented and developed throughout the school.

We have a dedicated ICT Manager, ICT Technician and part time ICT Administrator. The school has been awarded the ICT Mark for excellence in the use of ICT across the school.

The developments have included the completion of installation of interactive whiteboards and computers right across the school. We also have our own dedicated computer suite. ICT is not only taught to enhance the curriculum, but is taught as an individual subject as well. We have a successfully run computer club which is open for all pupils from Year 1.

E-safety is paramount at MSSS and we have regular insets for staff. Pupils are regularly reminded about use of the internet and we have recently introduced e-safety workshops.

We have recently joined up to the “MLE”, which is a managed learning environment through a learning platform. Every member of staff and every pupil, together with their parents, will have access to this wonderful facility at home and in school.
