The history of Jewish nationhood began at the burning bush in the desert, when God taught Moses the first protest slogan in history: "Let my people go!"

Moses was uncertain about the whole Exodus project, and objected that the job was too big for him. But God reassured him, explaining that there was an unstoppable driving force behind the venture: "when you take the people out of Egypt, you will all serve God on Mount Sinai." The point, quite simply, was that Jews with Judaism will always win out, even against the odds.

In our own time, the Jewish venture faces some opposition. Some people would deny us the right to walk upright and alone on the world stage. Others would have us cast away what we stand for and the ideas with which we have transformed the world for the better.

MSSS, aptly named, is part of the Jewish people's response. A dedicated and highly trained band of teachers guide the children with love and care through from Nursery to Year 6, helping them along their own journey, helping them to discover themselves, their heritage, their links to the wider world and their future. The school's atmosphere is warm and nurturing, the teachers' vision is clear and ambitious, the facilities are outstanding, and the end products can speak for themselves.

Moses would be proud if he could see us now. The spirit of Mount Sinai has blossomed and come to life at MSSS, where the unspoken motto is "Let my people know."

Best wishes
