Message from the Acting Headteacher
Home›About Us›Message from the Acting Headteacher
As Acting Headteacher, having been a senior leader at the school for 15 years, I am delighted to welcome you to Sinai where every child is valued as an individual and encouraged to reach his or her potential.
We are a well established school, and as we enjoy our 30th Anniversary, we maintain our position as the largest Jewish Primary School in Europe. Sinai is a co-educational, three form entry voluntary Aided Orthodox Jewish Day School, within the London Borough of Brent and under the auspices of the United Synagogue.
We offer a challenging curriculum which raises expectations and standards of both achievement and values. In addition to following the National Curriculum, your child will build confidence, develop self reliance, enhance his or her social skills and develop the ability to articulate feelings and ideas and then act upon them.
Sinai embodies a love of and commitment to Orthodox Judaism and Israel. We prepare your children for their future lives at home, work and leisure by providing them with the tools, skills and enthusiasm to become the leaders of the future. They will be a credit to themselves, their families, the school and the wider community.
Sinai enjoys strong educational and community links with all our feeder nurseries and secondary schools.
Parents and families are encouraged to actively support and participate in the life of the school, both in and out of the classroom.
We see the education of your child as a partnership between parents, child and the school and I look forward to welcoming you and your family to Sinai.
Joanna Walker
Acting Headteacher
