PE gets interactive at Sinai!

Sinai School now proudly houses two interactive all-weather, sun-readable, LCD screens in their playgrounds as part of the Government’s PE & Sports Premium funding.

The Government funding is given to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and Sports on offer.

Sinai’s Head of PE, Robbie Solomons, commented, “At Sinai we are determined to develop our PE and Sports activities as well as build capacity within our school to ensure that improvements are made now that will benefit the whole school. The screens will help increase confidence, knowledge and skills in PE and Sport. They will also be live during the pick-up period at the end of the school day and we encourage parents to get involved and try out some of the activities and take on board some of the heathy eating tips.”

The Chief Medical Officer guidelines recommend that all children and young people aged 5-18 engage in at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day, of which 30 minutes should be in school. With these screens, as well as our dedicated PE lessons, we hope this will help us reach this target.
