How can you express your views?
Speak to your class teacher
Parents’ evenings are held twice a year – once in the autumn term and another in the spring. However, informal meetings can be more effective. We encourage parents of all our pupils to keep in close contact with the school – it’s nearly always possible to speak with the class teacher for a moment or two before or after school, and a longer discussion can be arranged within a day or two. These meetings can be arranged if you have specific concerns or would like to know more about how to support your child.
Put your views in writing
We actively seek out the views of parents in our school to ensure that we are in touch with the needs and concerns of the parents and pupils. We carry out an annual Parent Survey where we encourage honest and frank comments that the Senior Leadership Team and Governors can consider and address. Download a copy of the Parent Survey 2016 here Parent Survey January 2016 Summary . If you have any concerns and would like to take it further, the members of the Senior Leadership Team have an open door policy and you can either send them an e-mail or write to them directly or make an appointment to see them.
