School Business Manager

Scale :   PO4-PO5 depending on experience

(Full time, Inner London Weighting)

Sinai is a vibrant, three form entry school, situated in Kenton. We are a voluntary aided Primary school in the Borough of Brent. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly efficient, organised and self-motivated School Business Manager to join our staff in February 2018. This job has become available due to the promotion of our current School Business Manager.

Candidates must have:

  • A proven track record of good finance management
  • Working experience of School Business Management
  • A certificate, or diploma, in School Business Management or be prepared to complete accreditation;
  • Leadership and management experience of areas including finance and health and safety;
  • Experience of premises and facilities management;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present both written, and verbal information for the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors.
  • A genuine desire to involve themselves fully in the life of our school and to work as part of our forward-thinking team of professionals.
  • Knowledge of FMS
  • Good knowledge of HR, support services and legal issues

The successful candidate will join the school’s Senior Leadership Team and be expected to make a major contribution to the work of that team in all aspects of its work in school.
