The children have all had a fantastic time participating in storytelling week.
We have really enjoyed exploring different storytelling techniques and identifying what makes an engaging storyteller.
Here are some of the exciting activities that have taken place throughout the week and across the school.
We have enjoyed listening to stories from parents, grandparents, and even teachers!
Thank you to all our guest storytellers.
The library has played host to a successful book fair. The children have visited the book fair with their parents and classes to browse the incredible array of titles. Many children and parents have bought brand new colourful books, which has helped the school to be awarded lots of new resources and books.
During the week, all year groups have written their own stories, and shared them with each other in different ways, using the new storytelling techniques they have learnt.
We have also had a storytelling competition where the children performed in their classes and then finalists were chosen to represent their class in a special storytelling week assembly.
Thank you to all staff, children, parents and judges for a great week.
