The training paid off and although it did take a fair few days to recover we are immensely proud of the group effort of some of our Sinai parents in collectively cycling 627 miles for our school and Jewish Child’s Day. Mrs Lipshaw cycled shoulder to shoulder with the group who showed true Sinai spirit in encouraging each other until the last pedal stopped spinning.
We were spinning for Sinai and for every kind donor who supported us along the way. Knowing people had given up their hard earned cash and in some cases pocket money was all the incentive we needed to finish off the gruelling task. The group cycled the equivalent of Tel Aviv to Haifa, 57 miles or 91.6km, a great personal challenge but also an amazing way to raise money for two worthwhile causes.
Money has still been coming in and we finished having raised just shy of £6,500 which will be split between the two organisations.
Thank you if you supported the school, a family member or a friend. It is hugely appreciated.
