Purim parades and celebrations

The celebrating of Jewish festivals at Sinai is something the school prides itself on. We create immersive and innovative occasions that teach Jewish Studies in a modern and vibrant way.

Purim is a perfect example of this. The school was awash with colour and vibrancy as we all enjoyed a traditional fancy dress parade and the children enthused about learning the 4 mitzvot (good deeds) of Purim and putting them into practice.

  1. Reading the Megillah – we had 9 interactive readings.
  2. Eating a festive meal – the children loved the chocolate chip Purim Challah
  3. Sending gifts of food to friends – every child had a personalised gift
  4. Donating money to people in need – pupils kindly donated over £200
