Last week our Year 4 children visited the Chiltern Open Air Museum and took part in Anglo Saxon and archaeological dig workshops. The children enjoyed the hands on activities, which ranged from thatching, writing Latin with a quill, carving runes into clay, brooch making and sorting through poo to find evidence!
The children also enjoyed being in the countryside and visiting the animals on the working farm.
If you would like to visit with your family the museum reopens to the public at the end of March. www.coam.org.uk
