As part of their Toy topic our year 1 children learnt about toys from around the world. They all made their own Guatemalan worry doll in their Geography lesson. According to legend, Guatemalan children tell their worries to their worry dolls, placing them under their pillow when they go to bed at night. By morning the doll will have gifted them with the wisdom and knowledge to eliminate their worries. #geography #learning #crafts #wellbeing
